Only the name Forte dei Marmi suggests sophistication, high society life, beaches and summer. The “Forte” is, for the Italian and foreign holidaymaker, a synonym of glamour and Dolce Vita since the Thirties, when it already was the favourite holiday resort of nobility, artists, intellectuals and businessmen, who used to choose this coastal strip for a holiday under the Tuscan sun.
